Machined from a single piece of billet aluminum so there are no welds to break or individual brackets to align. This "beefy" looking powder coated bracket matches the rest of the bike. Lifting the front of the tank gives the bike a custom stretched look by creating a "space" between the tank and the rocker boxes. This also provided a cooling performance enhancement by allowing air to flow over the top of the engine.
Due to handle bar position or other modifications. We ask you to perform the following. Here are a few steps to make sure the item will work for you. 1. Park your bike on the kickstand. 2. Remove the front mounting bolt from the tank. 3. Loosen the rear mounting bolt. 4. Turn your bars all the way to the left. 5. Carefully lift your tank 2” or 3” inches and check for clearance issues. 6. Repeat steps for right side 7. Check the inside width of your fuel tank mounting ears located in the front of your tank it should measure 2-15/16 of an inch. 8. Measure from the top of the frame mount to the center of the hole this needs to be about 3/8 of an inch.
